Battlefield 3: Aftershock for iOS

Just days from the release of the console/PC version, Touch Arcade is reporting that major American developer EA is planning on launching Battlefield 3 Aftershock exclusivly for iOS this winter.

Touch Arcade got the chance to play a demo of the new game at the Naughty or Nice games event in New York this week, and it looks awesome!
Battlefield 3 Aftershock is focused on being very mobile friendly introducing a wave system of enemy attacks designed to deliver the best mobile experience possible. The game will feature four different character classes, multiple weapon and player customizations, and even ragdoll physics! The multiplayer portion of the game will support matches online with up to 10 players.


The controls scheme is split between two on-screen sticks, one for movement(left) and aiming (right). An aim-assist button will also be avaiable to help lock on the target.
Battlefield 3 Aftershock will also feature integration with EA’s Origin online network, when it launches as a universal app this winter. I CANNOT WAIT!!
